Bhendi Bazaar building collapse: 34 dead, 46 rescued so far

At least 34 people have died as the 117-year-old Hussaini building at Mumbai's Bhendi Bazaar collapsed on 31 August, said the police. The rescue operations continued overnight, and 46 of the residents have been saved. The rescue teams are still working, even after over 24 hours after the incident; fire brigade officials said some persons are still stuck under the debris.
