Ro-Ro ferry service, PM Modi's dream project

PM Narendra Modi is going to launch his "dream project", the Rs. 615cr Ro-Ro ferry service between Bhavnagar's Ghogha and Saurashtra's Dahej in the Gulf of Cambay. The service reduces the distance from 310km (by road) to just 31km, and cuts down the travel time from 7-8 hours to over an hour, especially benefitting those working in Surat's diamond cutting and polishing hub.
