Aadhaar updates to go online from November
Soon, you won't need to visit an Aadhaar center just to fix a typo or update your address.
By November 2025, UIDAI will let you update key details—like your name, address, date of birth, or mobile number—online using a simple OTP.
This is especially good news for anyone living far from centers or for folks who find it tough to get there in person.

While biometric updates still mean a trip to the center, regular document updates are now free on the myAadhaar portal until June 14, 2026.
