What's the story

As an addition to its best-selling Classic 350 line-up of motorcycles, Royal Enfield has launched the Classic Signals Edition in India. Priced at Rs. 1.62 lakh, the Signals Edition commemorates Royal Enfield's association with the Indian Armed Forces. Notably, this new model gets several cosmetic updates but continues to be powered by the same engine seen on the Classic 350. Here's our roundup.

Styling

At a glance

The Classic 350 Signals Edition, available in a single-seat model, features blacked out chrome work on the handlebar, headlamp bezel, engine, exhaust muffler and on the wheel rim. Notably, each Signals Edition motorcycle will be one-of-its-kind with the production number stenciled on the fuel tank and along with the Corps emblem. The bike will be available in Airborne Blue and Storm Rider Sand colors.

Information

Engine and Power

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Signals Edition continues to be powered by the same 346cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 19bhp at 5250rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. Notably, the engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox like any other Classic 350.

Brakes & suspension

On the road

For handling and suspension, the motorcycle comes equipped with 35mm telescopic front forks along with gas-charged twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, the Signal Edition gets a single disc brake at the front and at the rear. Further, this variant is also the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to come with an anti lock-braking system (ABS) as standard fitment.
