Amaravati Quantum Valley reaches 4 Kelvin in QRF dilution refrigerator
Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) just cooled its own dilution refrigerator down to 4 Kelvin (that's nearly absolute zero) at the new Quantum Reference Facility (QRF) in Medha Towers.
This is a major step for India's homegrown quantum hardware, and the QRF now gives researchers and startups open access to develop next-generation quantum tech right here.
Amaravati project backed by state leaders
AQV kicked off last year when experts realized most quantum computing parts could actually be made in India.
With support from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, the project aims to put Amaravati on the global map for quantum innovation, all under the "Made in Amaravati for the World" banner.
The facility is also teaming up with companies like Qbit Force to push forward cryogenic tech and other key breakthroughs.
