Technology
The World Humanoid Robot Games just kicked off in Beijing, bringing together over 2,000 robots from 16 countries, way more than last year's event.
The competition is buzzing with robots from Germany, Japan, and the US.
Tiangong ultra runs 100m in 9.39s
China's Tiangong Ultra robot ran the 100-meter sprint in 9.39 seconds, beating Usain Bolt's legendary record.
Another Beijing-built robot set a mark in the standing high jump. It cleared 2.8843 meters, well above what humans have managed.
Besides athletics, these robots are showing off practical skills like industrial assembly and emergency response across 51 events, highlighting how fast robotics tech is moving forward.
