Civil Aviation Ministry plans to deploy AI in AirSewa PACR
The Civil Aviation Ministry is giving its AirSewa portal a smart upgrade by adding AI to the Passenger Assistance Control Room (PACR). The goal? Faster, smoother solutions for passenger complaints.
Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha shared that efforts are on to have a more robust platform that is more seamless in the next 90-100 days.
AirSewa PACR 73,000+ issues 98% success
Since launching after last year's IndiGo flight chaos, PACR has already sorted out more than 73,000 issues with a 98% success rate, handling hundreds of complaints daily from calls, emails, social media, and AirSewa itself.
During big disruptions like the West Asia crisis or foggy seasons when complaints spike, the ministry hopes AI will help keep things running smoothly and make travel less of a headache for everyone.
