India-based Detel launches 19-inch LCD TV for just Rs. 3,999
Touted to be the world's most economical LCD TV, homegrown electronics company Detel has launched its D1 TV in India for just Rs. 3,999. The Detel D1 LCD TV is claimed to feature an A+ grade panel and comes with HDMI and USB ports. The TV is currently available for sale via Detel India website and Detel's mobile app. Here's all about it.
Detel D1 LCD TV: At a glance
The Detel D1 features a 19-inch LCD display panel with 1366x768 pixels resolution and 300000:1 contrast ratio. There are two 12W front-firing speakers attached on both sides of the screen. Further, the Detel D1 offers PC connectivity, one HDMI port and one USB port that allows you to stream multimedia content on the TV via a USB drive.

Back in January this year, Detel had launched the world's most economical dual-SIM feature phone. Dubbed as Detel D1+, the phone was priced at just Rs. 399 and features a 1.44-inch TFT display, T9 keypad with directional keys, wireless FM and 3D speaker. Further, the phone also offers a flashlight, GPRS web browser, a microSD card slot, and packs a 650mAh battery.
