Exploring RailOne: Indian Railways's comprehensive travel app

Indian Railways just dropped RailOne, a new app that pulls together everything you need for train journeys—ticket booking, live train tracking, food delivery to your seat, refunds, and even complaints—all in one place.
Built by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), it's designed to make travel planning way less stressful.

TL;DR

Everything you need in 1 app

With a single login (IRCTC or UTS), you can book any kind of ticket—reserved, unreserved, or platform—track your train in real time, order food right to your seat, manage refunds easily, and file complaints if something goes wrong.
There's even a coach position finder and quick access to the Rail Madad help system.

App aims to handle 1.5 lakh bookings per minute

RailOne is here to cut down on confusion and save time—no more juggling multiple apps.
Indian Railways wants the app handling up to 1.5 lakh bookings per minute by year-end.
Heads up: from July 1st, you'll need Aadhaar or DigiLocker verification for Tatkal bookings on the app.
