Flipkart Big Billion Days sale likely starts October 9
What's the story
Flipkart is gearing up for its highly anticipated Big Billion Days sale in October. The e-commerce giant has not officially announced the dates yet, but a recent leak from Savings Simplified on X suggests that the sale will kick off on October 9. If true, this would mean an early start to the festive shopping season for consumers looking to score deals on smartphones, electronics, appliances and more.
Exclusive access
Early access for Flipkart Plus members
According to the leaked information, Flipkart Plus members will get early access to the sale on October 8.
This means that loyal customers with a Flipkart Plus subscription could start their festive shopping a day earlier than everyone else.
The move is in line with last year's strategy when Plus and Black members were given a 24-hour head start for the Big Billion Days sale.
Discount details
Axis, ICICI Bank cards to get instant discount
The leaked information also revealed that this year's Big Billion Days sale will offer a 10% instant discount on Axis and ICICI Bank cards.
This is similar to last year's sale where Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cardholders got a 10% instant discount on select products during the event.
Flipkart Plus members, however, will get an even better deal with a 12% instant card discount.
Sponsorship details
Samsung Galaxy, Intel Core to be title sponsors
The leaked image also revealed that Samsung Galaxy and Intel Core will be the title sponsors of this year's Big Billion Days sale.
Meanwhile, Acer, Beardo, TCL, and JBL are likely to be associate sponsors.
The details could not be verified, as the Big Billion Days sale page is not yet accessible through either the app or the official website.
