Google moves 90-person DeepMind AI responsibility team to global affairs
Google is moving its 90-person AI responsibility team from DeepMind over to its global affairs division, the branch that handles public policy and lobbying.

But Helen King, a vice president at Google DeepMind, reassured everyone that their mission, resources, and access won't change.
Google says this realignment should actually help different teams work together better on keeping AI safe.
The group will keep testing for risks (like chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear risks) and studying how people interact with AI, with ongoing research projects staying on track.
