Google Play Books turns 15—here's what's new for readers

Google Play Books just hit its 15th birthday!
Since launching as Google eBooks back in 2010, it's grown to over 10 million ebooks and audiobooks across 75 countries.
To celebrate, Google is rolling out some cool perks for book lovers.

Score big with 15X Play Points

From December 5-7, everyone gets 15 times the usual Play Points on any book or audiobook purchase—no matter your level.
You can swap those points for Play credit, in-app goodies, or exclusive rewards.

Why else check it out?

Play Books works on Android, iOS, web—even Android Auto—so you can read or listen anywhere.
Features like Family Library let you share books with up to five people, plus there are discounts on series subscriptions and lots of free or cheap audiobooks.
It's all about making reading more flexible and fun.
