    HP Elite Dragonfly convertible laptop launched at Rs. 1.5 lakh

    What's the story

    Expanding its line-up of business laptops in India, HP has introduced the all-new Elite Dragonfly in India today.

    The premium convertible notebook features an ultralight 13-inch form factor with a touch screen display, quad-core 8th-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, upto 24-hour battery life, and gigabit-class network connectivity options.

    Additionally, HP has offered some nifty privacy features as well.

    Premium design

    HP Elite Dragonfly offers a screen-to-body ratio of 87%

    Weighing less than a kg, the HP Elite Dragonfly is touted to be the world's lightest compact business convertible laptop.

    It features an ultralight magnesium chassis with diamond-cut accents, matte finish paintwork, and MIL-STD 810G standard built quality.

    It also sports backlit keyboard and a 1,000-nits bright 13-inch display. Notably, with slimmer bezels, the laptop also boasts of an improved screen-to-body ratio of 87%.

    You can choose from three display types

    With the Elite Dragonfly, HP is giving you the option to pick any of the three display options: privacy, HDR, and low power. All these panels support touch inputs as well as HP Rechargeable Active Pen G3.

    Further, the x360 convertible design also allows you to use the notebook in four different working modes: laptop, tablet, tent, media.

    Under the hood

    The Elite Dragonfly is available with a quad-core 8th-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and runs Windows 10 out-of-the-box.

    Under the hood, it comes either with a two or four-cell battery wherein the latter offers upto 24 hours of use time.

    The laptop also supports HP Fast Charge tech which is claimed to offer 50% charge in just 30 minutes.

    Connectivity and security features

    In terms of wireless and connectivity features, the Elite Dragonfly offers gigabit-class 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, an HDMI port, two USB-C Thunderbolt ports, and a USB-A port, among others.

    The laptop also comes equipped with a shutter option for the camera, an HP Sure View Gen3 tech that darkens the screen for snoopy eyes, and secure biometric authentication via a fingerprint reader.

    Pricing and availability

    In India, the Elite Dragonfly convertible laptop is priced at Rs. 1,49,990 and it will be available for purchase from December 1. The device is likely to be available via HP India online store as well as all partner offline stores across the country.
