JioStar launches JAMS GenAI studio to simplify multilingual content production
JioStar has launched JioStar GenAI Media Studio (JAMS), an AI-powered platform designed to make content creation a lot smarter and easier.
At its 49th Annual General Meeting, Akash Ambani shared that JAMS aims to blend AI with storytelling, helping creators take ideas all the way from concept to final production, across different languages and formats.
JioStar posts 34,917cr 1st-year revenue
JAMS is an end-to-end, AI-native content production pipeline for Bharat, letting users create, edit, and share content in multiple formats. It packs features like AI Snapshot for quick recaps and even in-show shopping tools.
In its first year after merging, JioStar pulled in ₹34,917 crore in revenue and grabbed a 34.7% share of TV viewership with 389 million daily viewers.
Its streaming app JioHotstar also set records: 451 million monthly users and a world-record 72.5 million concurrent viewers in India during India's T20 World Cup win, making it the first Indian paid OTT platform to cross 1 billion downloads.
