Motorola One Macro to launch in India next week: Report

Motorola is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under its 'One' series in India. Citing an industry source, 91Mobiles claimed that the Lenovo-owned tech giant will introduce the Motorola One Macro sometime in next week. The device was also spotted on a Saudi Arabian e-commerce site and benchmarking platform Geekbench, revealing its key highlights including design and hardware specifications. Here's all about it.
Going by the leaked images, Motorola One Macro will sport a regular waterdrop notched design with noticeable bezels on top and bottom. On the rear, the glossy panel will house a triple camera module and a physical fingerprint sensor concealed behind brand logo. Further, it is likely to sport a 6.1-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The Motorola One Macro is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup comprising a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and another 2MP lens, presumably a depth sensor. The camera module will be accompanied by a laser autofocus lens and an LED flash. Up front, the phone is expected to house an 8MP snapper in display cut-out.
The Geekbench listing suggests that the Motorola One Macro would be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor and run Android Pie. The handset is likely to offer up to 3GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, and a 4,000mAh battery. In addition, it should offer all standard sensors and latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and headphone jack.
The Motorola One Macro was listed on Extra.com at SAR 899 (approximately Rs. 17,000). Hence, we expect it to arrive at a similar price in India. Once launched, it will lock horns with Samsung Galaxy M30s, Realme XT, and OPPO K3.
