Nubia Z20, the dual-screen flagship smartphone, now available globally

Nubia Z20, the flagship smartphone with dual displays, is now available for purchase in select international markets. To recall, the handset was unveiled in August 2019, and it comes with two AMOLED displays, dual fingerprint sensors, triple cameras, and top-of-the-line internals. However, there is no word on its availability in India as of now. Here's our roundup.

First, a look at the Nubia Z20

The Nubia Z20 comes with a distinctive dual-display design wherein you can operate the phone from both the sides. Up front, the phone features an all-screen bezel-less display, and on the rear side you get a secondary screen which houses horizontally aligned three cameras, these cameras also serve as selfie snapper. Also, the handset houses dual fingerprint sensors for secure authentication.

    What about displays?

On the front, the Nubia Z20 sports a primary 6.42-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, while there is a secondary 5.1-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) AMOLED screen on the rear side.

For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

In the imaging department, the Nubia Z20 offers a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 122-degree field-of-view, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The camera module also serves as the front-facing snapper offering high-resolution selfies, and upto 8K video recording support.

    Under the hood

The Nubia Z20 is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 Plus octa-core processor, paired with upto 8GB of RAM and upto 512GB of storage. Under the hood, the handset runs on Android Pie-based Nubia UI 7 and packs a solid 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 (27W) fast charging technology.

    Connectivity options and sensor details

The Nubia Z20 comes with latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, dual VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and Type-C port. However, it misses out on the 3.5mm headphone jack. Lastly, it offers all standard sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, and e-compass.
