OnePlus 7 Pro: Everything we know about the "true flagship"
The new OnePlus flagship, the OnePlus 7, is ready to arrive on May 14 alongside a more premium model, the OnePlus 7 Pro. So far, several credible leaks have confirmed the new notch-less design and key hardware specifications of the Pro model. Now, Wired has tested a pre-production OnePlus 7 Pro unit, giving away details about the triple-lens rear camera. Here's everything to know.
Firstly, here's how OnePlus 7 Pro will look like
Based on recent leaks, OnePlus 7 Pro model will feature an uninterrupted all-screen design, triple rear-camera setup, and a pop-up selfie camera. Interestingly, this model will also offer curved screen edges, a repositioned alert slider, and stereo speakers. Further, the phone is said to sport a 6.67-inch Super Optic AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and a variable refresh rate of 60Hz to 90Hz.

And, what about the camera specifications
According to leaks, OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a triple-lens rear camera comprising a 48MP primary sensor, joined by a 16MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens with 117-degree field-of-view and an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. Up front, the motorized pop-up up camera module is tipped to house a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper. Wired has also leaked some details of the camera.

The main camera has 0.3 seconds of shutter lag, Auto HDR, 10x digital zoom, and a 20-frame limit for burst mode. Wired reported that the optically-zoomed (3x) photos retain detail rather than trying to remove noise while the 48MP main sensor uses pixel binning to offer 12MP images with heavy noise reduction. Further, the phone will also offer a Night Mode for low-light photography.
Under the hood
Thanks to many leaks, we know OnePlus 7 Pro will be backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and run Android Pie-based OxygenOS 9.5.1. Under the hood, it will pack a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charging support via USB Type-C 3.1 port. Moreover, the phone is tipped to offer improved vibration motor for haptic feedback and UFS 3.0 storage format.
Pricing and availability
OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will be officially unveiled on May 14 in India, US, and Europe. In India, the launch event will be held at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre and it will start at 8:15 pm local time. As for pricing, the standard model is likely to start at Rs. 37,999 while the Pro model could be priced around Rs. 50,000.
