The OnePlus 9R is expected to sport a punch-hole design, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure authentication of biometric data. On the rear, it may sport a multi-camera module. The handset will reportedly bear a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 90Hz or higher refresh rate.
The OnePlus 9R will offer a 64MP (f/1.7) primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. However, it is unclear if the rear camera unit will pack any additional sensors. For selfies, it is tipped to have 32MP front-facing camera.
The OnePlus 9R will draw power from an octa-core Snapdragon 690 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it will run on Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 and is likely to house a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. The device should also offer support for 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a Type-C port.
The official pricing and availability details of the OnePlus 9R will be announced at the time of the launch, which is scheduled for March 23. However, considering the expected specifications, the handset is likely to be priced at around Rs. 20,000.
