    What's the story

    Just days after announcing its launch date, OPPO has now revealed the key features, specifications and design of its latest smartphone - OPPO F7 - set to be unveiled in India on March 26.

    Coming in as the successor to the last year's OPPO F5, the F7 will sport an iPhone X-like notch that will hold a stunning 25-megapixel AI-powered selfie shooter.

    Notch is the new normal

    The OPPO F7 will feature a 6.2-inch full-HD (1080x2280 pixels) Super Full Screen display along with an iPhone X-like notch.

    OPPO, by opting to implement an iPhone X-like notch, has managed to shrink the phone bezels further to the edge and thus achieved a remarkable 89.09 percent of screen-to-body ratio with 19:9 aspect ratio on the F7.

    OPPO ditches physical buttons for gesture controls

    With the OPPO F7, the company has opted for gesture support over physical buttons/touch controls to allow users to easily switch between the apps. Moreover, OPPO will offer features like App-in-App view and the ability to record and share videos of gameplay on the smartphone.

    For all the selfie lovers

    While OPPO did provide some information about the F7 in its press note, the company did not shed light on other important specs - like primary camera, processor, RAM and storage options.

    However, what we do know is that the F7 will come with a 25-megapixel Al-powered selfie camera which will support features such as AI selfie, AI Beauty, and Real-time HDR.
