Oura Ring's latest app update tracks your stress levels
Oura just announced a major app update rolling out globally soon for iOS and Android.
The big news? A new "Cumulative Stress" feature that gives you a weekly snapshot of how well you're handling and bouncing back from stress, using data from your sleep, heart rate, activity, and more.
Oura is also working on an FDA study
The update also brings a fresh dashboard to help you spot stress patterns and manage them better.
Plus, Oura is working with the FDA on a study to catch early signs of high blood pressure, using Oura Ring data and info like your family history and lifestyle.
This study will be open to US users in the Oura Labs early access program, showing how wearables are stepping up in health monitoring—several Apple Watch models already support hypertension notifications after the feature cleared the FDA in September.
