  • Realme 5, the recently-launched budget-range smartphone by Realme, is all set to go on sale in India.

    The handset will be up for grabs starting tomorrow 12pm exclusively via Flipkart and Realme's official website.

    The key highlights of the phone include its waterdrop-notched design, quad rear cameras, HD+ display, and mid-level internals.

  • The Realme 5 costs Rs. 9,999 for the entry-level 3GB/32GB variant, Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB/64GB model, and Rs. 11,999 for the top-end variant with 4GB/128GB configuration.

    As for launch offers, buyers can avail Rs. 7,000 benefit from Reliance Jio and a complete mobile protection plan for Rs. 99 while ordering from Flipkart.

  • As far as specifications are concerned, the Realme 5 features a waterdrop-notched design with an ultra-slim bottom bezel offering 89% screen-to-body ratio.

    On the rear, the gradient finished panel houses quad cameras and a physical fingerprint scanner.

    Further, the handset comes with a 6.5-inch LCD display with HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.

  • For photography, the Realme 5 houses a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.

    Up front, it sports a 13MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter.

    Moreover, the rear camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps, while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

  • The Realme 5 is powered by Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, paired with upto 4GB RAM and upto 128GB of internal storage.

    The handset runs Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 and packs a solid 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support.

    Lastly, it offers all standard sensors and latest connectivity options such as support for dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and a headphone jack.
