  • Xiaomi's Redmi Note 8 Pro, one of the best-selling mid-range handsets, has become cheaper in India.

    The entry-level 6GB/64GB variant of the wallet-friendly phone has received a price cut of Rs. 1,000, bringing down the phone's starting price to Rs. 13,999.

    The key highlights of the smartphone include its all-glass body, 64MP quad rear camera, and a solid 4,500mAh battery.

  • With the latest price revision, the base 6GB/64GB variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is available at Rs. 13,999 (previous price: Rs. 14,999). The price cut is permanent and is now reflecting on Amazon as well as Mi.com.

    Meanwhile, the mid-end 6GB/128GB and the top-spec 8GB/128GB models will continue to sell at their old prices of Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 17,999, respectively.

  • Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a premium all-glass body featuring a familiar waterdrop notched design. On the rear, it houses a vertically aligned quad camera module with LED flash and a physical fingerprint reader.

    The handset features a 6.53-inch LCD screen with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels), 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

    Moreover, it gets all the latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
