Samsung launched its flagship Galaxy S22 series of smartphones globally on Wednesday. Now, the company has started taking pre-orders for the devices in India.
Interested buyers can reserve the handsets till February 21 via Samsung India e-store by paying Rs. 1,999. The booking can be canceled anytime without any penalty. Those who pre-book will get a Galaxy SmartTag worth Rs. 2,699 for free.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series features a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out with slim bezels, an IP68-rated build quality, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The S22 and S22+ bear a 6.1-inch and 6.55-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen, while the S22 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED display. They offer up to 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.

The Galaxy S22 and S22+ flaunt a triple rear camera arrangement, comprising a 50MP main shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto snapper. On the front, they have a 10MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy S22 series is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1/Exynos 2200 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage (depending on the region).
The S22 packs a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support, whereas the S22+ and S22 Ultra house a 4,500mAh and 5,000mAh battery, respectively, with 45W fast-charging.
They boot Android 12-based One UI 4.1.

In India, the Galaxy S22 series can be reserved for Rs. 1,999 via the Samsung e-store. Pre-bookings are open till February 21. The phones will be sold in India through Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung stores, and other retail outlets.
