Samsung launches Spidey tracker for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'
Samsung is launching the Spidey Tracker to celebrate Spider-Man: Brand New Day, rolling out June 17 in 35 countries.
Fans can follow Spidey's moves and even engage with the story in real time.
In the movie, Ned Leeds (played by Jacob Batalon) developed the tracker and is seen using it on a Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a Galaxy Watch, so yes, Samsung tech gets some serious screen time.
Samsung campaign offers cast appearances, interactivity
The campaign isn't just about tracking; fans get access to cast appearances and interviews, hidden Easter eggs, content drops, and interactive moments tied to the film.
Jeffrey Godsick, executive vice president, Global Partnerships, Sony Pictures Entertainment, says it "Spider-Man has always been a hero defined by his connection to his community. Teaming up with Samsung helped bring that spirit to life both on screen and beyond, integrating the technology people use every day into Spider-Man's world while also bringing innovative and fun new ways for fans to engage through the Spidey Tracker."
Plus, Samsung's devices, like the Galaxy Z Flip, Fold, and Galaxy Watch, aren't just props; they're part of the action on-screen and as users might see Spider-Man pop up at an Experience Store.
