Samsung unveils Galaxy pet health AI at VivaTech 2026
Samsung announced an AI feature for Galaxy users with pets at VivaTech 2026. It lets you spot health issues in your furry friends by snapping a photo.
Built with the startup Lifet, the tool can detect things like dental problems, patellar luxation, and cataracts, with Lifet claiming a 97% accuracy rate.
You'll need to install the SmartThings app and the Pet Care service on your smartphone.
Samsung expands health features with Xealth
This launch highlights Samsung's push into smarter health tech.
Besides pet care, Samsung also showed off upgrades to its Health app—think better tracking for sleep, activity, and nutrition.
Plus, its collaboration with Xealth means Galaxy users can explore ways to connect Galaxy devices with healthcare services, allowing doctors and patients to monitor health information outside traditional clinical settings.
