SoftBank just launched "Patching as a Service," a new tool that uses OpenAI's tech to fight off AI-driven cyber threats.
The service kicks off in Japan through the joint venture between SoftBank Corp and OpenAI, and arrives as worries about AI security risks are heating up.

At the Tokyo launch, SoftBank founder and chief executive Masayoshi Son called protecting Japan's digital infrastructure a vital responsibility.
Right now, 50 people are working on the rollout, but that number is set to jump to 1,000.
SoftBank is also backing OpenAI in a big way, pledging $64.6 billion through 2026, just as global concerns about AI safety keep growing.
