Tinder is testing AI matchmaker Chemistry to reduce swiping fatigue
Technology
Tinder is testing a new feature called Chemistry to help users find more compatible matches and make swiping less tiring.
Powered by AI, Chemistry looks at your answers to prompts and analyzes your photos (only if you agree) to suggest a daily list of people who actually vibe with your personality.
It's being tested in Australia and New Zealand now, with plans to expand to more countries in the coming months.
Modes are new navigation options
Alongside Chemistry, Tinder is updating its navigation with Modes like College Mode and Double Date Mode—Double Date Mode is already catching on with Gen Z in Europe.
The app itself is also getting faster and more reliable, boasting a 38% quicker startup time and fewer crashes on Android, plus a smoother experience for iOS users.
