India-bound Vivo V17 Pro's specifications leaked, will offer six cameras
Vivo is back in the news and this time for a new camera-centric V17 Pro smartphone that it is working to launch in India and other international markets soon. A German blog WinFuture has leaked the design and full specifications of the upcoming handset, revealing the presence of a dual-lens pop-up selfie camera and a quad-camera unit on the rear. Here's our roundup.
Vivo V17 Pro will offer the in-trend all-screen design achieved by favoring a pop-up selfie camera over display notches and punch-hole designs. On the rear, it will rock a quad-lens setup and some sort of gradient look. And going by the leak, the handset will sport a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1080*2440 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 21:9 aspect ratio and integrated in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Vivo V17 Pro, according to the leak, will pack a quad rear-camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP lens for capturing depth details. On the front, the phone is tipped to come with a dual-lens pop-up selfie camera with a 32MP primary sensor with a wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Vivo V17 Pro is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, paired with upto 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it is tipped to house a 4,100mAh battery and run Android Pie. Further, the handset will also support all the latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs, Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
There is no official word on the pricing and availability of Vivo V17 Pro. However, the phone was recently teased in a promo for Indian reality show Bigg Boss, hinting at its imminent arrival in the country.
