Vivo V7 Plus with 24 MP selfie camera launched

Chinese device maker Vivo recently launched the Vivo V7+ at a Mumbai event. This selfie-focused flagship smartphone features a whopping 24-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture bundled with a selfie soft light. The phone is going to be available for purchase in India from September 15 and will cost Rs. 21,990. One can also pre-book it on Amazon and Flipkart. Here's more.

Specs
What's under the hood?

Vivo V7+ has a 5.99-inch HD IPS Incell 'FullView' display with 18:9 aspect ratio, a company first, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. It packs in a 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage (expandable up to 256 GB) and a 3225 mAh battery.

Selfie-centric
It's all about the selfies

Although the main emphasis is on its front camera, Vivo V7+ also sports a 16MP rear camera with dual-LED flash. It'll be available in Gold, Matte Black, and Rose Gold color variants. Vivo's Director of Brand Strategy, Nipun Marya said, "Vivo has been riding on the success of its selfie-centric phones. We have 18% smartphone market share in the country now."
