watchOS 8 is the latest version of the watch Operating System that runs on Apple watches. Previewed in July 2021, it comes with an array of upgraded features. With watchOS 8, you can put Portrait Mode photos from your iPhone on your Apple watch, get suggestions for nearby active devices, access your security camera, and locate misplaced Apple devices. The OS also introduces AssistiveTouch, Always-On display, and audio controls.
