    Xiaomi Mi 6X aka Mi A2 launch, specs, and features

    Xiaomi Mi 6X, also known as Mi A2, is the company's latest smartphone and will be launched on April 25 in China. The Chinese electronics manufacturer has posted a teaser which reveals the key specs and features of its upcoming smartphone. Notably, this handset may launch in India as Mi A2 and is expected to run stock Android. Here's our roundup.

    A 5.99-inch full-HD display, rear dual-camera setup

    Xiaomi, through its teaser, has revealed a Blue colour variant of the Mi 6X. The teaser shows the back panel which holds an iPhone X-like dual-rear camera with an LED flash module and a center-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will sport a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080x2160) display. Moreover, the antenna bands have been placed at the top and bottom edges of the smartphone.

    For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

    As per the teaser, the smartphone will sport a primary 20-megapixel camera sensor. Notably, Xiaomi has not revealed any specifications of the secondary camera. However, reports and rumors suggest that the secondary camera will be a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor. On the front, the Mi 6X may sport a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor.

    Under the hood

    Reports suggest that the Mi 6X will be powered by Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC processor. Further, the smartphone is expected to come in three configurations - 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage, 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage. The phone is also expected to pack a 2,910mAh battery and will run MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
