XREAL Aura XR glasses capped at $1,500 with $99/$299 deposits
Technology
XREAL just revealed that its new Android-powered XR glasses, the XREAL Aura, will launch with the final retail price of the base model not exceeding US$1,500, excluding applicable taxes.
The final price isn't set yet, but you can secure your spot with a $99 or $299 deposit.
These "portable spatial computing glasses" aim to bring some serious tech in a wearable package.
Aura adds cameras and computing puck
The Aura packs a wider field of view, built-in cameras, and comes with its own battery-powered computing puck, making it more advanced than the $599 XREAL One Pro.
Earlier models with add-ons cost around $900 to $950, so this higher price tag reflects all the upgrades packed in.
The pricing also gives it flexibility as it prepares for launch and navigates changing costs.
