What's the story

The Premier League is indeed a roller-coaster ride, as we saw results that shocked and surprised us to equal degree. Notably, Chelsea's undefeated streak is over, thanks to a spectacular performance by Tottenham at Wembley. Liverpool and City won their respective matches while United drew against Crystal Palace. Here're all the records broken in last night's Premier League encounters.

City vs West Ham

City thrash West Ham 4-0 at their home

With this win against West Ham, Manchester City became the second EPL club to score 4+ goals in three successive matches against one team. Chelsea were the first to achieve this against Bolton. City are now without a single loss in 19 matches. The match marked David Silva finding the back of the net in four back-to-back matches for City for the first time.

United vs Palace

United made to look toothless by Palace, match drawn 0-0

Palace were the better team in the match but missed easy chances as they drew against United. This draw helped United to take their undefeated streak to 21 EPL matches against Crystal Palace. Since October 1970, this is the first top-flight English football match where United have failed to net in against Palace. This was United's first home clean sheet in the current season.

Liverpool vs Watford

Liverpool were too good for Watford to contain

Watford lost 0-3 to Liverpool in the EPL match which ensured the Reds remain unbeaten in 13 matches for the first time since 2007-08. Watford have now lost 16 out of 18 EPL matches against clubs, starting that match-day in the top two of the table. For the first time since debut, Trent Alexander-Arnold has assisted in goals in successive EPL appearances.

Spurs vs Chelsea

Chelsea suffered shocking loss of 1-3 against Tottenham

Sarri's unbeaten run in the EPL has been brought to a halt by Pochettino's Tottenham as they put 3 past Chelsea at Wembley. Tottenham have now won three out of their last four EPL meetings against Chelsea. Kane is now the joint-sixth highest scorer in the history of all London derbies. Giroud became the second player to score 20 EPL goals as a substitute.
