#GamingBytes: Black Ops 4 adds new content after recent update

    What's the story

'Call of Duty: Black Ops 4' already made a splash in the gaming community due to the polished gameplay offered across modes, especially the Blackout (Battle Royale).

It is seeking to keep this momentum going by releasing updates to improve the experience.

To this end, its recent update has brought exciting content and changes to the game.

Read all about this development here.

    New modes

Take a great thing and make it better

The biggest change in multi-player mode is the addition of fan-favorite Gun Game.

Here players spawn with a preset weapon list and the list changes every time players kill enemies. Whichever player cycles through every list wins.

Another variation is Chaos Domination, where weapon cycling is similar but matches are between two teams and the first team scoring 150 points by capturing zones, wins.

    Other modes

What changes are coming to the other modes?

In the Blackout solo mode, the maximum player count has been increased to 100. In duos and squads, the maximum player count has been set to 88.

The Zombie mode will now allow players to gain experience points faster if they decide to play either the Realistic or the Hardcore difficulty.

This should encourage players to take up more challenging game settings.

    Other changes

    What are the other changes?

The update also balances gadgets, weapons, and armors across all modes, while fixing an issue where players could keep a special weapon out indefinitely.

With a lot of items getting nerfed or powered down, the gameplay should be radically changed as players have to come up with new strategies to adapt to the weapon changes in order to optimally use them in the game.
