Star spinner Kuldeep Yadav remains the fastest Indian to 50 T20I wickets. The left-arm wrist-spinner, who made his debut in 2017, took just 30 matches for the same. He achieved the feat in six years and 30 days, according to ESPNcricinfo. In 50 T20Is, Kuldeep has 90 wickets at an incredible average of 13.17. His tally includes 2 five-wicket hauls.

Varun Chakravarthy: 32 matches
As mentioned, Chakravarthy is the latest entrant on this list and now occupies the second spot. The mystery spinner completed 50 T20I wickets in 32 matches. He debuted for India at the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. However, he was dropped after managing just two wickets in his first six outings. Making his comeback last year, Chakravarthy now has 51 wickets at 15.00.
