What's the story
PlayersUnknown's Battlegrounds, or popularly known as PUBG, is one of the most loved multi-player shooter games. Tencent Games brought it to the mobile platform and it became an instant hit. Currently, PUBG Mobile has around 50 million downloads on the Google Play Store. It brings a high-rated, intense gameplay experience to the mobile phones. Read to know all about this exciting game.
The Game
What is PUBG all about?
PUBG has a simple game structure. 100 players are loaded onto the battle plane. They are dropped over either of the two maps- Miramar or Erangel. Players have to choose their landing spots, loot weapons, gear, health kits and survive the dog-eat-dog game. There is only one winner. Players also have to stay within the storm circle, which constantly keeps shrinking.

What is great about the phone gameplay?
Why PUBG Mobile when you can play it on PC? Well, the mobile game offers a couple of advantages. Firstly, the gyroscopic control system makes movement and gameplay easier. The floating shoot-button is a great addition. Players don't have to search for it on-screen. It appears where they last touched the screen. Further, players pick up gear and ammo automatically by moving over them.

Where the PC edges out?
Firstly PUBG Mobile starts you off without clothes. Players have to collect clothes or buy randomized pieces from crates. The controls are sloppier than PC. However, it becomes fluid with practice. The mobile gameplay is suited for mid and short-range weapons. Sniping is difficult with mobile controls and fire-rate is lower as well. The game requires a rushed approach but remains as intense.

The mini-map in PUBG Mobile has a fire indicator. This means players can check out where the gunfire is coming from if they hear shots nearby. This allows players to hunt others easily. At the same time, shooters have to be careful about revealing positions.
Weaponry
Which weapons are the best in PUBG Mobile?
Since the mobile version demands a rushed gameplay than a camping one, assault rifles and sub-machine guns are ideal. AKM, and M16A4 are the two best rifles one could hope for. They are better with scopes. Tommy gun and UMP9 are great SMGs for high fire-rate. S12K is the best shotgun to use but we recommend not using it except at close ranges.

Emulators to the rescue
Tencent has introduced the beta emulator for PUBG Mobile, which lets it run on PCs and laptops. This makes shooting easier with a mouse and keyboard. Vehicular control is more difficult though. The frame rate is capped at 30 fps so the graphics need work.
Opinion
It all boils down to experience
Graphics wise, the PC version is better, but PUBG Mobile still remains the best mobile shooter game. Understandably, the graphics are not great given the mobile hardware. The controls in the PC are better than the mobile. The inclusion of bots in the mobile game helps players improve at the start. In conclusion, it is the most nail-biting shooter game on mobiles.
