All the key numbers from Premier League, gameweek 16

Five matches were played on Saturday in gameweek 16 of the Premier League 2019-20 season. Everton stunned Chelsea 3-1 at home, whereas, Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways with a 5-0 victory against Burnley. Manchester was pained red after United overcame City 2-1 at the Etihad. Liverpool maintained their unbeaten run. Here are the key numbers on offer.

Man United go unbeaten in five EPL games

Manchester United are now unbeaten in their past five Premier League games (W3 D2). They have won two consecutive league matches for the first time since March. Forward Anthony Martial has been directly involved in 10 goals in his past 13 EPL starts (G6 A4). United have taken most penalties this season (8). They have scored four, which is more than any other side.

City lose as Pep Guardiola scripts unwanted records

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola recorded his worst points return after the first 16 matches of a top-flight season in his managerial career (32 points). Guardiola has lost two league games in a single season at home for only the third time in his managerial career. He had lost in 2014-15 with Bayern Munich and 2008-09 with Barcelona.

Everton end a run of three straight defeats

Everton recorded their third win in 12 Premier League games. The victory against Chelsea ended a run of three straight defeats. The Blues have lost three of their past four Premier League games. Chelsea have registered only one clean sheet in 17 Premier League away games in 2019. Everton's Richarlison has scored in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time.

Liverpool register these feats, Bournemouth scripts unwanted records

Premier League 2019-20 leaders Liverpool have won 24 of their past 25 EPL matches. Jurgen Klopp's side did not allow Bournemouth a shot on target. Mohamed Salah notched his 63rd goal in his 100th Premier League appearance. Bournemouth have lost five straight matches for the first time in the top division. Bournemouth became the first side to lose five consecutive top-flight meetings with Liverpool.

Jose Mourinho scripts these feats after Spurs blank Burnley

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has never lost a Premier League match against Burnley. Jose's side scored five goals in the EPL for the first time since January 2015 (Chelsea 5-0 Swansea). At Manchester United, his best tally was 4-0. Mid-fielder Dele Alli has been directly involved in seven goals in five games under new boss Mourinho.
