India had a perfect start as Deepak Tangri scored from a corner taken by Meetei.
The Argentine goalkeeper dropped the ball into the goal, taking India to 1-0 in the fourth minute.
Aniket Jadhav was sent off in the 54th minute, but India struck back with a brilliantly struck free kick by Anwar Ali.
