Test-bound Indian squad to directly reach Ahmedabad after Asia Cup

According to reports, the Indian cricket team will fly directly to Ahmedabad for the West Indies Test series, after participating in the 2025 Men's T20 Asia Cup in the UAE. The first Test match of the series against West Indies will be held at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium on October 2, just four days after the continental tournament concluded in Dubai. India beat Pakistan in the Asia Cup final.

India's Test squad to assemble in Ahmedabad
Several players from the Asia Cup squad, including Test captain Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Jasprit Bumrah, will join the Indian team in Ahmedabad. The coaching staff, led by head coach Gautam Gambhir, will also be part of this. As per reports, they are expected to arrive at the ITC Narmada hotel, where a special welcome is planned for them.
