Premier League, Bournemouth vs Manchester United: Preview, Dream11 and more

Manchester United are eyeing a fourth successive away victory across all competitions. They face Bournemouth away from home in gameweek 11 of the Premier League. Heading into this match, United scripted wins against Partizan (Europa League), Norwich City (EPL) and Chelsea (EFL Cup). The side is also unbeaten in their last four matches. Here's the match preview.

Bournemouth vs United: Team news and selection

Bournemouth have Dan Gosling back in training but the player is not yet ready to return. Meanwhile, the likes of David Brooks, Charlie Daniels and Junior Stanislas remain sidelined. United will be monitoring Victor Lindelof, Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire, who all suffered apparent injuries in the Carabao Cup win at Chelsea. Mid-fielder Paul Pogba remains out, alongside Luke Shaw and Nemanja Matic.

Stat attack: Interesting numbers on offer

Bournemouth haven't beaten United in the last seven meetings (D1, L6). The hosts could go four Premier League matches without a goal for the first time. United will look to claim back-to-back league wins for the first time since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was confirmed as their permanent manager in March 2019. They haven't kept a clean sheet in their last 10 away league games.

What did the managers say ahead of the crunch clash?

"The international break came at a great time for us. We did some work, prepared for the Liverpool game, and when you get a decent performance against the league leaders it gives you more energy," said United boss Solskjaer. Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe said, "We have to show more than our last home game and get the supporters on our side for this one."

Dream11: Rashford leads a strong unit

David de Gea leads the line in goal in a 4-4-2 formation. Aaron Wan-Bissaka takes up the right-back position. Steve Cook and Harry Maguire form the central defensive partnership. Diego Rico is the left-back. The mid-field comprises of Scott McTominay and Harry Wilson. Daniel James and Ryan Fraser add width. Marcus Rashford (captain) is supported by Callum Wilson (vice-captain) upfront.

Predicted winners, timing and TV listing

United seem confident at the moment and the return of Anthony Martial has boosted the forward line. They will need to stamp their authority from the start. United go into the match as the favorites. The match is scheduled for a 6:00 PM IST start. It will be telecast live on the Star Sports Network and can be streamed on Hotstar (paid subscription).
