Mayank made a comeback to the national team
After nearly two years of being sidelined due to a severe lower-back stress fracture that required surgery, Mayank made his return to the Indian national cricket team during the recent T20I series in Zimbabwe.
The pacer, who made waves in the 2024 IPL with his ability to clock over 150 KMPH, had made his T20I debut in 2024 but had been out of action for a long time.
However, he completed his rehabilitation and regained full fitness before making a comeback to the national setup.
The 24-year-old currently owns 30 wickets from 26 T20 games at an economy of 8.04.
