Arsenal goal-keeper David Ospina to join Napoli
What's the story
Arsenal's 29 year old goal-keeper David Ospina has signed for the Italian club, Napoli, on a season-long loan. Not being high on the list of Emery's preferred players, the Colombian international might get more game time at Carlo Ancelotti's Napoli. Arsenal already have their regular goal-keeper Peter Cech. Career
Ospina's career at Arsenal FC
David Ospina had arrived at Arsenal for ยฃ3 mn from Nice in 2014 and has started in 27 Premier League matches. He made a total of 70 appearances for the club, winning two FA Cups during his stay. His 2014-15 season, at the club, was the best when during league appearances against Manchester City and Aston Villa, he managed to keep clean sheets.

Napoli were in need of a goal-keeper after Meret's injury
Napoli's newly signed goal-keeper Alex Meret had suffered an injury during training, which will keep him out of action for a while. Signing Ospina was a desperate attempt to secure a goal-keeper before the Serie A kicks off. Meret has, reportedly, suffered a fracture in his ulna during training when he collided with youngster Francesco Mezzoni.
