Things Jose Mourinho is getting right at Manchester United

Jose Mourinho is one of the most successful football managers and has a decorated resume to prove his worth. However, Mourinho faced criticism, from all quarters, after Manchester United lost two EPL matches and he failed to sign any big names during the transfer window. He has been the most influential manager since Sir Alex and here're things Mourinho is doing right at United.

Mourinho has the perfect attitude to help United win

Jose Mourinho is someone who doesn't mince his words. He is one manager who always carries his heart on his sleeve and does not hesitate to comment when the need arises. His never-give-up attitude is something United need right now. Further, the winner's mentality, which seemed to have faded away after Ferguson, has been replenished by Mourinho.

Mourinho putting United in the right place

In his interview with Gary Lineker, Mourinho had said that there is been a difference in the club's potential and the expectations fans have. This is absolutely true since United are still not good to be Champions League winners and need to re-look at their plans accordingly. United are progressing gradually, and no one has the clearer picture of their growth path than Mourinho.

    4/5

A manager who always stands by his players

At United, Mourinho has been really clear that the right attitude to win is important and this is what he wants to see in his players. Even after a loss, the manager praises his team if they show the right attitude. This is something which will always help boost a team's confidence since the team members know the manager believes in them.

Gave United title victories they were craving for

It was a bleak period for Manchester United after Sir Alex called it quits and David Moyes took charge. He was later replaced by Louis van Gaal (who did win the FA Cup in 2015). Only after Mourinho arrived, United started winning titles again- EFL Cup, the Europa League, and the FA Community League were won in his first season as manager.
