Fakhar, Imam stitch record ODI opening partnership

Pakistani batsmen, Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq, broke the record of the highest opening partnership in ODI cricket. The duo added 304 runs for the first wicket against Zimbabwe. They broke the previous record set by Upul Tharanga and Sanath Jayasuriya (286) for Sri Lanka against England at Leeds in 2006. Zaman also became the first Pakistani batsman to score an ODI double ton (210*).

Zaman scripts his name in record books

He became the sixth batsman to hit an ODI double ton. The southpaw has played a crucial role for his side in this series as Pakistan enjoy a 3-0 advantage.
