  • Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has revealed that he received death threats after manager Claudio Ranieri was sacked last month.

    Vardy was reportedly one of the players involved with the removal of Ranieri following Leicester's loss against Sevilla.

    He also said that he faced a lot of anger from the fans in the aftermath of Ranieri's departure.

  • Premier league winning manager Claudio Ranieri was sacked by Leicester City just nine months after their title victory.

    Ranieri had guided Leicester to their first title victory after a 5000-1 odds before the start of the tournament.

    He was sacked soon after the Foxes lost to Sevilla in the first leg of the the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
