    What's the story

Even before his formal appointment, Chelsea's new manager has submitted his list of demands, while Pep Guardiola is looking for reinforcements in order to defend their Premier League title.

Juventus are trying to keep Barcelona and Real Madrid off their midfield ace Pjanic and Marco Asensio is the most wanted player across Europe.

Here are the top transfer rumors and news.

    Rising star

United, Chelsea and PSG want Asensio

English giants Manchester United and Chelsea and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are set to battle it out for Real Madrid's rising star Marco Asensio.

Interestingly, Asensio is keen to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, in return, he wants an assurance from new manager Julen about his playing time.

Asensio scored 6 goals in La Liga, last season, for Los Blancos.

    Hefty price tag

Juventus put €80 mn price tag on Pjanic

Serie A champions Juventus are demanding €80 million for mid-field ace Miralem Pjanic.

This was first reported by Tuttosport.

Barcelona are keen on signing Pjanic to replace their legend Andres Iniesta.

However, Juventus do not want to sell the Bosnian mid-fielder.

He is also a target of Barcelona's rivals Real Madrid.

    Sarri wants Mertens at Chelsea

As per a report in Daily Mirror, former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri wants Dries Mertens as his first signing, if he is appointed as Chelsea's next manager.

Sarri is close to signing a deal with Chelsea after his agent was spotted in London.

31-year-old Mertens scored 22 goals to help Napoli finish on the second spot behind Juventus in the Serie A.

    Quality signing

Leno completes €22 mn Arsenal move

Bayer Leverkusen custodian Bernd Leno has completed a €22 million move to Arsenal.

The 26-year-old will replace Cech as the Gunners number one next season.

Leno, who has been capped 6 times by Germany, failed to make the World Cup squad this summer.

With Leno in, Cech could be on the move to ensure regular playing time.
