Liverpool are looking to off-load Daniel Sturridge and it looks certain that Arsenal would lose Jack Wilshere this summer. Premier League winners Manchester City are close to signing another mid-fielder. Atletico Madrid are building their team around French trio while Bayer Leverkusen goal-keeper Bernd Leno is heading to the Premier League. Here are the top transfer rumors from across Europe.

Man City close to acquiring Napoli's Jorginho

Premier League title holders Manchester City are closing in on a deal to sign Napoli's Jorginho for around £46.5 million. The mid-field ace has agreed to terms put forward by Pep Guardiola's side but there are certain details which are yet to be ironed out. Jorginho scored three goals, last season, for Napoli in 37 matches. Interestingly, one goal was against City in UCL.

Griezmann, Hernandez and Lemar sign Atletico deals

Atletico have announced that France trio Antoine Griezmann, Lucas Hernandez and Thomas Lemar will be handed new contracts. Griezmann and Hernandez have penned extensions with La Lia outfit. These contracts will see them tied down in Madrid till 2023 and 2024 respectively. Lemar has agreed to terms with the Los Rojiblancos and will complete his move from Monaco in the coming weeks.

€25 mn Leno set for Arsenal move

Bayer Leverkusen goal-keeper Bernd Leno will complete a €25 million move to the Emirates stadium, according to reports in Germany. Leno attracted attention from across Europe including the likes of Atletico Madrid and Napoli. However, he finally decided to sign a sign a five-year contract with Arsenal on Tuesday. Before signing the contract, he will undergo his medical.

Southampton want Arsenal's Wilshere

Southampton are the latest Premier League club to join the race for Arsenal mid-fielder Jack Wilshere. The 26-year old will be out of contract on July 1. He is yet to take a decision regarding his future with Arsenal. West Ham, Wolves, Sampdoria and AC Milan are interested in acquiring the mid-field ace.

Injury prone

Liverpool demand £15 mn for Sturridge

Daniel Sturridge is likely to part ways with Liverpool, after falling out of favour at Anfield. Sevilla and Fenerbahce are interested in his services but Liverpool are demanding £15 mn for the England international. The 28-year-old injury prone striker spent the second half of the last season on loan at West Brom, but injuries meant he could make just 6 appearances.
