    Rafael Nadal won a 4-setter match against Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili to proceed to the quarter-finals.

    Further, Dominic Thiem overcame Kevin Anderson and Serena Williams continued her strong performance to proceed to the next round.

    The scoreboard read 6-3, 6-3, 6-7 (6-8), 6-4 as Nikoloz's valiant third set performance had put the Spaniard under pressure.

    Nadal will now be facing Dominic Thiem in the quarter-finals tomorrow, September 4.
