Krunal Pandya to lead Baroda in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2020/21

Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya will lead the Baroda squad in the impending Vijay Hazare Trophy, starting February 20. Krunal, who led the team initially in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, had to leave the tournament's bio-bubble mid-way due to his father's demise. Baroda have announced a 22-member squad for the domestic 50-over championship, shared by Baroda Cricket Association secretary Ajit Lele. Here is more.

Players
Kedar Devdhar, Vishnu Solanki among notable names in the squad

The squad comprises opener Kedar Devdhar, who led Baroda to the final of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020/21 in the absence of Krunal. Vishnu Solanki is another notable name among others who contributed to Baroda's incredible run. Meanwhile, the bowling attack is led by the fast-bowling duo of Atit Sheth and Lukman Meriwala, and spin trio of Ninad Rathwa, Kartik Kakade and Bhargav Bhatt.
