Did Zinedine Zidane gave a hint about Gareth Bale's future?
  • Welsh footballer Gareth Bale played a fine role as Real Madrid registered a 3-1 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Following the win, manager Zinedine Zidane almost confirmed that Gareth Bale is going nowhere and would stay with Los Blancos this season.

With the Spanish transfer window closing on September 2, Zidane is confident that Bale is not leaving Real Madrid.

    Here is more.

Celta came up with a consolation goal in the 91st minute.

  • Commenting further on Bale, Zidane said that their focus was to perform this season and nothing else.

He added that while Eden Hazard's injury came as a shock to all, it hardly affected the mindset they had for Bale.

"Gareth, James [Rodriguez] and all the players here are going to defend this shirt," continued Zidane, as reported by The Sun.

  • Although there is still some time before the Spanish transfer window closes, Bale has strong performance to show at Madrid.

Till date, he has scored 102 goals in 232 matches for Madrid.

Moreover, the author feels that with Zidane back in charge, spending time under him could give him the platform again that he missed last season.
